Spotting whales is an incredible experience in and of itself. But combining the rare sight with the even rarer Northern Lights, which are on many travelers' must-see list, is an unreal, once-in-a-lifetime experience.
This past week, a Norwegian camera operator was filming the lights and happened to capture a pod of whales playing underneath them.
The rare footage is mind-blowing.
