Instagram is rife with bloggers (most boasting rampantly priapic pocket squares) purporting to be experts in the menswear realm. But despite some of these chaps having followings numbering well into the six digits, many of them wouldn’t know a four-in-hand from two in the bush, their dress sense more pizzaiola than sprezzatura— displaying haphazard, mishandled style that no aspiring boulevardier should look to for inspiration.
Herewith, however, we highlight a number of bona fide menswear savants, Italians one and all, each displaying a mastery of the sartorial, as well as a firm grasp on the art of good living. Get thee to Instagram, and follow these gentlemen safe in the knowledge that to tread in their footsteps is to take thepasseggiata to flawless menswear elegance. Va bene.

A long-time favorite of street style doyen Scott Schuman, a.k.a. The Sartorialist, Lino is the proprietor of Milan menswear mecca Al Bazar. His personal style and winning smile definitely get the thumbs up from us. (Also check out Lino’s equally chic counterpart at Al Bazar,@giampaolo_alliata.)
