While airports aren't exactly known for their food, some are better than others when it comes to the quality and variety of cuisine they offer customers.
Consumer-aviation website Skytrax recently revealed the winners of its annual World Airport Awards for 2016, including the world's 10 best airports for dining.
The results were based on 13.25 million survey questionnaires completed by airline customers of 106 different nationalities.
Here are the 10 best airports to enjoy a meal at before your next flight.

No. 10. Hamad International Airport (DOH): Doha, Qatar
Hamad International Airport took 10th place, offering customers gourmet and on-the-go bites.
Sample Indian and Arabic cuisine, pastas and pizzas, or organic sandwiches at its food court, or indulge in one of the hearty Italian dishes prepared at celebrity chef Massimo Capra's restaurant, Soprafino.
No. 9. Munich Airport (MUC): Munich, Germany
Munich Airport is home to Airbräu, a Bavarian restaurant that has a large indoor beer garden, live music, and its own on-site brewery. Enjoy a glass of its house-made beer alongside a selection of tasty Bavarian treats.
No. 8. Kansai International Airport (KIX): Izumisano, Japan
