Bellroy's Leather Travel Wallet is one of them.

I got one for myself and one for my Dad — who's already flown on 41 flights and counting for 2016 — over the holidays. It seemed like a practical gift at the time; five months later, I can say it's easily one of the best things I've ever given him (the pineapple-print dress socks are a close second), and it's one of the most practical travel accessories either of us has ever used.

Packing many of the same features Insider Picks loves about the Australian company'sSlim Sleeve Wallet, Bellroy's travel wallet is exceedingly slim and good-looking, and it enables you to keep all of your important documents in one place for easy access. It comfortably accommodates 10-plus cards, your passport, your boarding ticket, and whatever currencies you have on you. A handy pen is even tucked into the fold of the wallet for filling out customs forms.

There's also a water-resistant version of the travel wallet that zips all the way around and fits your iPhone.

"I love having everything in one place," my Dad wrote to me in an email when I reached out asking him how he was liking the wallet. "It fits neatly in my suit jacket, and it isn't bulky like some of the ugly trifolds I've used in the past. Plus, the pen is killer — especially when you fly international and need to fill out declaration paperwork. No need to hunt for a pen."

The wallet's being both Dad- and Insider Picks-approved should only make you feel more assured in your decision to purchase it. It's far from cheap at $120, but it just might be worth it, if you travel as frequently as my Dad, or you know someone else who does.

Bellroy Leather Travel Wallet, $119.95.
Bellroy Leather Elements Travel Wallet, $139.95.
