Planning a trip with a group of friends can be incredibly stressful. But the right destination offers something to please everyone in a group.
To find out where travellers are going on holiday with their friends, the trip planning and booking website RoutePerfect.com pulled data for the most popular European cities based on 900,000 bookings made either on or through the site.
From party destinations that are home to some of the world's best beer, to more laid-back cities known for their cafes and museums, here are the top 11 cities in the ranking:
11. Madrid, Spain — By day, visit the Prado Museum, which offers a variety of fine European art to suit everyone's taste, or hop on a bike tour for a unique way to see the city's sights, including Plaza Mayor and the Royal Palace. By night, share some tapas at La Casa del Abuelo, a well-known tavern that's been around since 1906, followed by a flamenco show.

9. Munich, Germany — If you often meet your friends for a beer, take your next pub date to Munich, where you can find some of the world's best beer halls and breweries. If you're looking to party, visit during Oktoberfest, or if you'd rather stay away from the crowds, go on a tour of the city's "Big Six" breweries including Löwenbräu and Hofbräuhaus.
