The cheapest countries for international flights

Travel site Kiwi.com analyzed over one million flights to compile an Aviation Price Index that ranks countries with the least expensive airfare.

India placed first, with an average flight cost of $3.25 per 62 miles (100km) of travel. The US placed 17th, with an average flight cost of $9.81 per 62 miles of travel. However, it did place 3rd for most affordable low-cost domestic flights.
